Terms of service
The shape of the agreement we intend to offer, in plain language, pending the reviewed version.
What we provide
Access to TrackSHEQ as a hosted service, with a workspace provisioned for your organisation. Which modules are available to you is stated in the product; this website marks which are live and which are still being built, and we do not charge for modules on the strength of a roadmap.
Your account
You are responsible for the accounts you provision and for what the people holding them do. Keep credentials safe, use two-factor, and de-provision people who leave — which also stops them counting toward your bill.
Fees
The published rate is per provisioned seat per month, billed in arrears on the highest number of seats provisioned on any single day of the month, less the free allowance. Rates and allowance are as published unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing, in which case the written agreement governs.
Your data
Records your organisation creates in the product remain yours. We hold and process them to provide the service, we do not sell them, and we intend to keep export available so that leaving is a decision rather than a hostage negotiation.
Availability and suspension
We aim to keep the service running and will be candid when we do not. A workspace may be suspended for non-payment after we have contacted you, or where continuing to serve it would breach the law — and suspension stops it serving without destroying it.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to attack it or anyone else, or to store material you have no right to hold. Do not attempt to reach another customer's workspace; the architecture is built to make that impossible, and trying is grounds for termination regardless.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and close your workspace. We intend to give reasonable notice and an export window before anything is deleted, rather than making a cancellation an immediate loss of records.
Liability
The reviewed version will contain the warranty and liability provisions, and they will be the ones that bind. We are flagging their absence here rather than pretending this draft is complete: TrackSHEQ is a record-keeping tool, and it does not replace your own legal duties, your competent advice, or your judgement on site.
Changes
This page will be replaced by reviewed terms. We will say so when it happens, and give notice of material changes to existing customers.
Status: engineering draft. Not yet reviewed by counsel.
